How Does Clear Bra Paint Protection Film Work?

The top layer of the PPF is comprised of an elastomeric polymer that helps the material maintain a natural shape once it’s been stretched or applied to a smooth surface. The elastomeric polymer gives paint protection film its “self-healing characteristics” with superior scratch resistance and near eliminatiob of swirl marks.

Paint protection film (PPF) was originally developed by 3M for the United States miliary to extend the life of their helicopters by reducing damage from flying debris.
